One of three works Duddell has written for percussionist Colin Currie, "Snowblind" highlights the melodic possibilities when writing for percussion. Throughout its three movements, Duddell takes the performers through a modern day Baroque sound-world with both the use of ritornello sections and focussing on unity between the accompaniment and soloist.
